The Project Manager, Sales Operationsis responsible for executing projects and initiatives that improve the Sales Process with the objective to increase sales efficiencies and enhance the overall guest experience. The Project Manager will be responsible for project management activities in compliance with Project Management Methodologies and best practices which include implementing project action plans and deliverables, stakeholder analysis, risk management, resource alignment, managing project work and teams, developing project communication, tracking project cost, business handoff’s, communicating project status to key project members and stakeholders and performing project postmortems. This individual will work closely with cross-functional internal business partners including but not limited to: Business Operations, Brand, Legal, Strategic Development, IT, Sales Training, Instructional Design, Corp Comm, Sourcing, Procurement, and other corporate teams to deliver projects and required support to Field Sales Teams. This role may require the individual to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of software applications to validate end to end business flow. This position should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills as this candidate will need to coordinate various activities and communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization including Senior Leadership.

How You'll Shine

  • Support the creation of a business case and feasibility study to establish a projects business value.
  • Create presentation decks to visually display the business case to information and secure buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Create overall Project Plans (Schedule and Timelines, Milestones, Communication Plan, etc.).
  • Track projects against timelines, budget, scope, risk, and deliverables. Partner with our other business units to ensure seamless and on time delivery of projects that span across the enterprise.
  • Provide clear and transparent report outs based on documented Communication Plans (Stakeholder Communications, Status Reports, Project Snapshot, etc.).
  • Support to manage stakeholder expectations of project deliverables.
  • Conduct UAT testing of software applications including Navigator, and/or any other enterprise-wide software that will impact the sales process..
  • Perform audits, identify trends, determine system improvements/impacts, and implement change.
  • Liaison with Brand/Legal/Field to provide necessary approvals for all sales division guest facing collateral, infographics, video, media tools, and ambient digital.
  • Manage and track Sales Content Push schedule including new content creation and updates across all sales channels.
  • Open all required RoboHead, Jira, and Service Now tickets per project.
  • Receives and documents initial Sales CapEx requests. Ensure proper stakeholders and decision makers are engaged to review and prioritize the request. Manage backlog of project requests and reprioritize projects as business evolve.
  • Support the successful implementation of each project by applying strategies to plan, prepare, and equip individual associates for change across the organization. Monitor and track project adoption rates post launch. Listen to feedback and offer solutions to sustain changes.
  • Possible moderate travel required up to 25%. Travel would be required to WVO business sites to support a project rollout/launch, to perform post launch evaluations, and/or to oversee the renovations of sales centers.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, program management or related areas.
  • Project Management and/or process improvement certification preferred. (may be acquired within 1 year of role acceptance).
  • Understanding of timeshare industry, products, and clubs
  • Previous experience working on multiple projects
  • Strong motivation to learn, willingness to be a team player, yet operate independently as required while exercising discretion and independent judgment
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in work to ensure quality
  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills
  • Strong networking skills to build appropriate relationships throughout a broad organization
  • Proven ability to effectively handle multiple tasks in various stages of completion
  • Ability to solicit feedback to improve processes and develop project strategies
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals
  • Ability to recognize priority and be able to manage time effectively to deliver on priorities
  • Ability to be flexible with change and adapt to changes within products/programs
  • Ability to interact with various business partners at all levels in the organization
  • Vacation Ownership and travel industry knowledge a plus
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Visio & Outlook
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing projects, implementing initiatives OR experience in a leadership role.
  • Specific knowledge of WD products, club rules, and owner needs preferred.
  • Project Management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively across department lines and with all levels of management preferred.
