Job Description
Position Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day management of 2 to 3 concurrent construction projects, valued between $1M and $10M each, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.
Proactively collaborate with the Government to conduct site evaluations, field surveys, and site visits, assessing constructability and code compliance. Contribute to the development of draft scopes of work and validation of requirements, actively participating in pre-bid conferences.
Support the Government in crafting technical requirements, scopes of work, cost estimate analyses, and schedules for A/E services, including the review of studies, reports, and drawings.
Assist in monitoring construction progress, managing submittals, facilitating permit applications, organizing project files, and handling invoicing as part of a collaborative team effort.
Independently schedule, lead, and participate in weekly project progress meetings and monthly program progress meetings, assessing schedule progress, identifying deviations from the baseline schedule, and evaluating risks to long-term project and program health.
Demonstrate autonomy in obtaining requirements and data from other Project Managers or clients, ensuring professional communication and timely submissions.
Maintain construction administration data using Excel, web-based software, and files, aggregating information for use as metrics and briefing tools for senior leadership.
Develop and monitor the progress of project lifecycle milestone schedules and Government activities, ensuring the timely delivery of the Government construction program. Assess schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Regularly prepare and deliver project status briefings, develop and update performance matrices, and produce well-written technical reports. Prepare both written and oral reports for Government leadership and program managers, regularly briefing senior leadership.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management with a minimum of 5 years of construction experience or Active General Contractor/Construction Trades license with over 10 years of construction experience.
U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
Ability to pass and maintain a Public Trust clearance (HSPD-12 fingerprint background check).
