The Manager, Integrated Applications Projects will oversee the tracking and coordination of ES&O Integrated Applications projects from inception through design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. This role requires a highly organized and strategic thinker with excellent software project management skills. The successful candidate will use Atlassian tools to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
 
The Manager, Integrated Applications Projects will be responsible for overseeing the automated controls, SCADA, and network engineering components of large-scale energy storage projects. While each project has a dedicated project manager, this role focuses on ensuring the seamless integration, progress tracking, and quality assurance of automated controls, SCADA, and network systems across all global projects. The successful candidate will ensure that these aspects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

 

This position will follow a hybrid work model and the preferred location is Herndon, VA. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 1. Project Planning and Coordination:
   - Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
   - Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance, to ensure seamless project integration.
 
2. Progress Tracking and Reporting:
   - Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing potential issues or delays.
   - Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, risks, and mitigation strategies.
 
3. Stakeholder Management:
   - Liaise with internal stakeholders, including software engineering, project delivery, and lifecycle support to ensure alignment and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
   - Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns promptly.
 
4. Risk Management:
   - Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to address potential obstacles.
   - Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
 
5. Resource Management:
   - Work with resource managers to allocate and manage project resources effectively
   - Oversee procurement processes and vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of project components.
 
6. Quality Assurance:
   - Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of project deliverables.
   - Conduct regular reviews and audits to assess project performance and implement continuous improvement measures.
 
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field 
- Proven experience in managing complex projects, preferably in the energy storage or renewable energy sector.
- Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of energy storage technologies is a plus
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
