CEXEC Inc is looking for a Project Manager to join an expanding team supporting our customer of over 20 years on site in the Pentagon (Arlington, VA). This position requires regular interaction with senior-level staff and external organizations in accordance with customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Enables effective configuration management using organic technical expertise in systems architecture, integration, and cybersecurity.
- Develops and maintains enterprise architectures and document key operational activities, information and data exchanges, system components, functions, interfaces, infrastructure and communication assets
- Provides an information technology specialty to develop system, operational, and architectural requirements
- Develops and maintains architectural system views.
- Ensures system information is obtained from applicable program managers and/or subject matter experts, to include acquisition, sustainment, modernization, and O&M information.
- Consults with program managers and users to resolve user identified issues and requirements in the architectural design.
- Communicates technical needs, opportunities and constraints to program managers and senior leadership.
- Liaise with system architects to resolve communications and information systems integration problems.
Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI
- PMP preferred (5 years exp. required without)
- Understanding of the National Military Command System and its components preferred
- 3 years' experience supporting senior-level staff (combatant command, service HQ, Joint Staff, component command etc.) preferred
- Bachelor's degree (or 5 years' experience)
- Excellent Written and Oral communication skills
- Ability to function independently and utilize problem solving abilities
Education
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
Travel
- 5-10% (negligible)
