The Project Manager will work closely with Falcon’s internal creative and technical teams as well as outside vendors and clients. This role is responsible for managing diverse projects of varying scales with regards to design, development, fabrication, installation, operation, maintenance, safety and close out documentation of various projects. These projects are typically theme parks and special themed attractions that combine the services of specialty designers and fabricators, scenic, lighting, AV, and ride vendors to produce a show or an attraction or a series of attractions for our clients. Major job functions include the overall planning of resources, project organization, scheduling, contract administration and the day-to-day coordination of the project, including coordinating the efforts of Falcon’s team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to execute the project on time and on budget.

Essential Functions:

  • Builds strong team cohesion and motivation within the project team.
  • Prepare clear and concise scopes of work for project related vendors.
  • Review project and vendor contracts and agreements and advise Falcon’s executive team on potential modifications.
  • Coordinate design documents from outside vendors and check for compliance with contractual requirements and specifications.
  • Monitor vendors during onsite work and lead reviews onsite and offsite at vendor location.
  • Works as the main point of contact with various disciplines (i.e., architectural, engineering, ride system, a/v and controls, SFX, SAE, operations, maintenance, etc.).
  • Coordinate plan reviews, permitting and inspections with appropriate compliance agencies when applicable.
  • Manage overall transportation and logistics as related to individual project needs and proactively communicate impacts to all affected parties.
  • Develop detailed technical schedules, identifying and assembling necessary resources.
  • Develop project budgets and create appropriate work breakdown schedules.
  • Identify risks and prepare mitigations plans to ensure projects stay within assigned budget, scope, and schedule.
  • Responsible for dissemination of technical information to appropriate groups related to the project.
  • Ensures all projects maintain the highest level of safety in accordance with Falcon’s specifications, accepted manufacturing practices and local standards.
  • Provides technical guidance and vendor management of the design, fabrication and day-to-day detailed installation, test, and adjust activities in the field.
  • Provide supervision of assigned support labor in the project site.
  • Mentor less-experienced project professionals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Must have or be able to quickly acquire knowledge of company structure (mission, goals, and objectives), and policies and procedures.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America.
  • Will not require Falcon’s Beyond Global, LLC to commence (“sponsor”) an immigration case in order to be employed (now or in the future).

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of project management experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in vendor management with significant in-field installations.
  • Requires a sound understanding of engineering practices and procedures/excellent mathematical and analytical problem solving.
  • Strong technical oral and written communication skills for a wide audience.
  • Strong awareness of environment, health and safety standards.
  • Demonstrate proficient computer skills, to include, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
  • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other technical degree from an accredited for-year program is preferable.
  • Ability & willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays with short notice.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
