HII - Mission Technologies is currently seeking Project Manager supporting a large, dynamic, and fast-paced C5ISR FEDSIM contract to provide the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) and its mission partners with emerging technologies in intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) systems and associated cybersecurity, communications, and information assurance... The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer. This position will be based in Orlando, FL.
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between program management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with Project Managers, line managers, and clients.
What you will be doing:
- Ensure the successful delivery of company projects on time, cost, and quality. Participate in full-cycle project development from initial customer proposal to final acceptance test. Oversee all aspects of multiple projects using planning, monitoring, and controlling processes.
- Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between Project Management and planning, project teams, and line management.
- Monitor, control, and communicate to corporate management the status of projects, with attention to resource utilization, project costs, and risk management.
- Participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
- Coordinate with sales, engineering, and production to define the scope of work for assigned projects and develop project plan, including schedule, cost budget, resource budget, and associated forecasting.
- Facilitate regular, professional team meetings across program team with active follow-up action items.
- Communicate complex issues/gain consensus with the engineering, production, quality, and other stakeholders.
- Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
- Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Provide continuous superior customer service.
- Position will require 10/15% work/travel aboard offshore vessels as required.
What we are looking for:
- 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience
- Experience with project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Experience in an Earned Value Management environment.
- Experience managing and reporting on multiple complex data sets in a coherent and organized manner
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Active Secret Clearance
- PMP or PMI certification
Physical Requirements
- May be required to visit job site in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level.
