You are comfortable with technology, including email and chat tools, along with data entry programs. GreenSavers is a contractor focused on home energy efficiency in Portland and Central Oregon. For multiple years in a row, the US EPA and DOE selected GreenSavers from 1,4500 contractors across the country as ENERGY STAR® Contractor of the Year. We are currently looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of projects and client communications from the deposit to the final payment. Your main purpose would be to ensure the client experience is top-notch and they are 100% satisfied throughout the project while producing your job on time and budget.

This role reports to the Director of Operations and doesn't supervise anybody.

Compensation: $83,000 - $92,000 depending on experience with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to be met. There's also a potential for additional earnings based on performance exceeding targets.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license & insurable driving record
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • At least 2 years of Project Management experience
  • A high degree of professionalism, tact, and ability to influence others
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills. Ability to handle and diffuse difficult situations and client concerns in a positive manner
  • Success in prioritizing diverse responsibilities. Proven ability to meet deadlines without compromising contract intent, relationships with team members, or customer service
  • Sound judgment. Ability to make decisions, work independently, and seek assistance from team members when necessary
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM software

Desired Qualifications:

  • BPI Certification
  • Experience managing Construction, HVAC, residential remodeling, window, or insulation crews
  • Spanish fluency
  • Mechanically minded-with an understanding of building systems/construction methods

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete projects within the targeted gross margin and allocated time. Monitor monthly
    production numbers, consistently discussing with management
  • Respond to all client questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner
  • Conduct or coordinate a pre-project inspection of the job site
  • Address issues before they arise or escalate
  • Clarify job scope and customer contract with the sales team
  • Identify the resources needed to complete each project. Communicate with the Internal
  • Production Coordinator to ensure ordering happens
  • Review finished projects with clients, address any last concerns or punch list items, and secure final payment promptly
  • Complete and submit all project documentation
  • Implement new procedures and refine old procedures for increased efficiency
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients or prospects
  • Ensure all client review materials are in place and completed
  • Introduce and promote products and services appropriate to client needs
  • Evaluate the customer's point of view and suggest alternatives, recommendations, and solutions
  • Follow established policies, practices, and procedures and provide feedback for improvements
  • Collect payments from clients
  • Adhere to the department policies and procedures for client requests, changes in project scope, and real-time project changes
  • Perform other job duties as required
