Job Description

CoreWeave is a specialized cloud provider, delivering a massive scale of GPU compute resources on top of the industry's fastest and most flexible infrastructure. CoreWeave builds cloud solutions for compute intensive use cases — VFX and rendering, machine learning and AI, batch processing, and Pixel Streaming — that are up to 35 times faster and 80% less expensive than the large, generalized public clouds. About the role:

The Infrastructure Engineering organization is responsible for many of CoreWeave's internal and client-facing platforms and tools. Programs within the domain of Infrastructure Engineering are cross-functional by nature and include but are not limited to storage products, workload scheduling, automation tooling, software marketplace development, client APis, observability, operations, and release engineering.

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team and work with the Manager, Technical Program Management of Infrastructure Engineering to organize and coordinate the delivery of projects inside and outside of the Infrastructure Engineering organization. The selected candidate will work both within and external to the Infrastructure Engineering organization and have the opportunity to:

  • Execute processes to help mature the day-to-day engineering functions.
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of projects of varying size and complexity, encompassing all facets including planning, resource management, risk assessment, and contributor engagement to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Organize and facilitate interactions and meetings to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather, document, and communicate project requirements, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment with critical objectives.
  • Foster collaboration and effective communication among various teams, including engineering, product management, operations, and business development, to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to align objectives and secure necessary resources and support.
  • Identify potential risks and issues throughout the project and proactively communicate to relevant stakeholders in order to drive resolutions and minimize impact.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure program success and effectiveness.

Wondering if you're a good fit? We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams – even if you aren't a 100% skill or experience match. Here are some qualities we've found compatible with our team. If a portion of this resonates with you, we'd love to talk.

  • You have five or more years of experience in project management, preferably within software engineering.
  • You have a track record of successfully organizing and coordinating the efforts of multiple teams to deliver long-running, complex projects with visibility to senior stakeholders.
  • You are comfortable working in a bottoms-up leadership-style organization that focuses on enablement, communication, organization, and inspiration over task management.
  • You maintain a diverse toolkit of methodologies and practices and preference fitting the tool or methodology to the team where possible.
  • You are good at navigating ambiguity, operating independently and recognize when you need help and trust that you will (in a safe environment) ask for it in a timely manner.
  • You are excited about a position of influence in a fast-paced and dynamic organization as it learns to mature under hypergrowth.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $130,000 in our lowest geographic market up to $145,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
