POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or equivalent work experience required; Preferred Master’s degree in Information Technology Business field preferred.
- Minimum three IT project management experience required which includes software implementations and upgrades required. This includes moderately well defined, moderate in complexity, less than 1 year in duration, and involve multiple functional areas; examples include (multiple server replacements, new system implementation/development that supports multiple business units, and updates to products that span across multiple areas of the infrastructure). Experience with Agile Methodology preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of business systems analysis experience required; which includes proficiency with business analysis methodologies, such as requirements elicitation and documentation, required.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience required; extensive subject matter expertise in Accounting and CRM applications preferred.
- Proficiency in understanding business needs and practices required.
- Knowledge of database-oriented analysis tools and techniques; specifically, SQL, is required.
- Perform project management and limited business analysis assignments supporting Corporate Accounting and Financial Services business units.
- Facilitate communication between Accounting, Accounting-related business areas, and Technology regarding information technology and business initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively across multiple functional areas to achieve desired results.
- Manage multiple technology projects through the entire project life cycle.
- Work with project sponsors and Senior Management during project initiation to achieve a high-level understanding of the project work being requested.
- Coordinate, prepare and lead the discussions and meetings to define the work activities and organization of those activities (Work Breakdown Structure meetings).
- Run projects in multiple project management methodologies including waterfall and agile.
- Prepare the project schedule and all required project documentation, including funding and budget, risk analysis, and other documentation as required.
- Execute project plans on schedule and within budget with effective utilization of scope, time, quality and cost constraints.
- Provide business analysis support as needed for Accounting and Accounting-related business areas.
- Determine and document business objectives. Translate business objectives into documented business and functional requirements.
- Perform analysis, prepare functional specifications, and conduct functional testing for approved projects. Coordinate, review, and validate this work when prepared by project team members.
- Facilitate the business/functional aspects of design, development, testing, implementation, and/or problem resolution.
