Job Title: Project Manager - Heavy Civil Construction
Location: Connecticut, Statewide

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to join our team in the Heavy Civil division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Mission for the position: We are looking for a manager that runs the day to day operations of complex projects ranging from $500k to $60M. We expected this leader to be independent and capable of managing several project engineers, superintendents as well as developing and maintaining relationships with Clients and their representatives.
With time the new Project Manager can grow into a senior management role.
Education: ideal candidate has a degree in Civil Engineering but strong candidates with solid background, experience and knowledge of the industry will be considered.
Work Experience: ideal candidate has a minimum of five (5) years of experience managing projects ranging from $5M to $10M or above. Highly motivated candidates who are striving to prove themselves in a high level management position can be considered on a case by case basis.
Salary Range: $115k-$140k, based on experience

Position Competencies:
- Proven knowledge of the civil industry, its safety and quality standards in particular.
- Vast knowledge and deep understanding of the CTDOT processes and standards.
- Excellent ability in leading and influencing people.
- Ability to read, understand and interpret plans and drawings.
- Ability to develop, update and analyze project schedules.
- Proven knowledge and experience managing budgets, monitoring costs and reporting trends.
- Experienced with billings for lump sum and unit price contracts and capable of independently managing.
- Capable of managing more than one project at once.
- Capable of performing the superintendent role if necessary.
