Responsibilities

What You'll Do

    • The Project Manager for Digital Transformation will be a driver of initiatives and projects across multiple functions within the V2X organization. This role is responsible for driving processes for the PMO, enhancing collaboration across the organization, and facilitating the project governance process across the organization. Responsibilities will cover the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. This role will require a set of skills to make the right technical decisions and ensure that all business goals/KPI’s are optimized through the delivery process. Individuals in this role must demonstrate leadership skills through management of project delivery and training of project management processes/tools.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Core Areas of Expertise
      • Partner with the leadership to facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
      • Document key project deliverables into project charter.
      • Work with subject matter experts to define tasks and required resources.
      • Create project plans and schedules utilizing known best practices, risk assessments, and lessons learned.
      • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
      • Define project goals, success criteria, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
    • Process Improvements & Implementation
      • Drive execution by ensuring coordination and collaboration between internal customers and business functions through i.e., reporting meetings, governance, costs, etc.
      • Executes implementation projects and processes improvements for the enterprise and provides specialized knowledge of business systems and processes.
      • Responsible for defining and communicating weekly status on projects to Transformation & Integration leadership.
      • Ability to work and lead cross-functional business teams to identify fundamental business requirements with definable ROIs.
      • Responsible for defining and executing transition of project and support documentation to the IT business.
      • Responsible for defining and communicating weekly status on projects to Transformation & Integration leadership.
      • Manage internal and vendor relationships to meet project milestones.
      • Implement and manage change management process to achieve project milestones.
      • Ensure initiative delivery meets the defined KPI’s.
      • Facilitation of risk assessments throughout project life cycle.
    • Support Strategic Vision
      • Manages strategic project report outs, deliverables, and integration dates up to leadership.
      • Delivers initiatives key to strategic business growth.
      • Create and deliver succinct well-formatted and articulated written communications.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

    • Education:
      • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
    • Experience:
      • Minimum of three (3) years' related experience with progressive responsibility in project management and governance definition to include exposure with international and commercial operations.
    • Other Requirements:
      • United States citizenship required.

Desired Qualifications:

    • Certifications/Licenses:
      • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

      • Demonstrated experience driving digital transformation through innovation and the implementation of technology.
      • Experience with leading complex, major change initiatives.
      • Possesses change management and planning skills.
      • Understanding of interdependencies between operations and business needs.
      • Demonstrates decisiveness in resolving business problems and identifying personal and project priorities.
      • Knowledge of different project and portfolio management strategies.
    • Business Partner/Effective Communication:
      • Strong communicator, both orally and in writing, including ability to facilitate effective collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and develop consensus and drive all organizations to achieve quality goals.
      • Possesses exceptional verbal skill set: discerns and clarifies information, profound listening skills, perceptive, recognizes subtleties, identifies and questions assumptions, thoughtful, professional, and assertive responses.
      • Interfaces comfortably and effectively with a wide range of team members to include executive leadership.
      • Someone who is adaptable, comfortable, and resilient in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities and business needs.
      • Able to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously while delivering accurate results on time and within scope to meet project deliverables, milestones, and timelines.

      • Ability to develop, cultivate, and manage relationships with corporate business partners while driving excellence for all service.

      • Microsoft Office 365 suite, including project management tools such as MS project and Smartsheet
    • Technology:
      • Personal computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment.

    • The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
    • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
      • USD $ 80,000 - 135,000
    • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
