Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret plans
- Ensure the financial goals of each project are met.
- Create change oreders, follow through regarding approval of them.
- Set up project timelines in order to meet deadlines. Ensure product is where it needs to be when it needs to be there.
- Pull appropriate permits
- Set up pre and during project meetings with the client. Take notes, impact agreed upon items. Represent Greener Group professionally.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, and / or cost tracking reports.
- Create submittals
- Create AIA contract documents
- Follow through on change orders, pay requisitions, AIA documents, and submittals.
- Solicit subcontractors if / when needed.
- Communicate effectively with Greener Group Foremen, supervisor, division managers and others as needed.
- Research, note taking and tracking of needed items.
- Plan ahead; bring foreseen difficulties to the attention of supervisor. Be creative as to how to resolve them..
- Ensure that licenses are in place as needed.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in this type of role. This is not an assistant Project Manager role.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, safety and building codes, construction methods
- Knowledge of site excavation including underground utility work experience.
- Software knowledge and experience with tools such as electronic mail, internet, estimating software such as Bluebeam, Excel
- Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
- OSHA 10 hour certification
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, have a respectable motor vehicle record, valid driver license, pass a pre-placement drug screen and have current DOT medical card.
