Location: Denver, CO / Minneapolis, MN (Must be local to Nicollet Mall MSP or 1800 Larimer in Denver.)
Description:
Putting in a new budget/forecast system. SAP SAC as the platform. Finance background. 1-to-1.5-year project. Starting in planning. Starting implantation in January. Build out project plan. Experience managing large projects. Requirements, design of application deployment. Standard premises. No infrastructure/networking or telecom. Must be able to work a flex schedule. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Required. Local to Denver 1800 Larimer, or MSP. Not interested in ANY remote. Working with system integrator on this project. Experience with vendor management – Nice to have. Would prefer PMP or something similar. SCRUM certification doesn’t do much.
Requirements:
- Ten or more years of project management experience, with at least 5 years of recent application related deployments – Who has managed recent projects.
- Experience with SAP SAC implementations
- Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
- Proven success working with all levels of management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong executive communication skills
- Experience managing large IT projects.
- Excellent presentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors.
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to escalation channel.
