Our client, a consumer products company and recognized as a Best Places to Work in SoCal for 2023, is hiring a Project Manager. You’ll work with internal teams and external suppliers to plan, prioritize, and manage NPD projects from concept through production. You'll ensure resources are effectively managed, hurdles are jumped, projects are completed, and KPIs are met. You have a product engineering background, understand the project life cycle, and can lead teams to bring new products to life.

What You'll Do
Leading a cross functional core team, plan, organize, and manage all phases of a project lifecycle, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Develop and manage project governance plans, project schedules, team goals, success criteria, project milestones, resource management, and budgets.
Collaborate across the company to define, prioritize, plan, and report on projects based on company goals and objectives.
Establish data collection and reporting processes to capture key metrics of project activities and provide reports to stakeholders.
Take ownership and responsibility for issue management, risks, decisions, and the overall success of a project with internal and external (suppliers) teams.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Assess project issues and identify solutions to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget while meeting client and regulatory requirements.
Ensure all project-related documentation and deliverables are documented.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree - preferably in STEM - or equivalent experience; PMP certification is a plus.
3+ years of project management experience.
2+ years of product engineering experience.
Experience with MS Project, Gantt charts, and Gate Phase methodology.
Strategically minded and analytical self-starter with the ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects and report on project status and other key metrics.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to consistently arrive at mutually accepted conclusions.
Ability to lead cross functional teams and manage resources by planning, organizing, scheduling, and coordinating the work of others.
Thrives in a collaborative environment, remains calm under pressure, and builds trust and positive relationships with others.
Ability to travel up to 10%.

The California base annual salary range for this role is currently $100,000 - $135,000 plus bonus. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
