Voovio Technologies is in search of an individual with a background in Manufacturing and Project Management, who is looking to be a part of our innovative digital transformation solution in the process industry.
Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the communication and coordination of all project-related activities between Customers, Voovio Account Managers, Voovio Operations and the Production team. The PM is a key role to ensure successful implementation of Voovio's platform at a Customer site. The PM will handle multiple implementations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Interfaces with customers and their organizations to coordinate timely, thorough and successful project implementations of Voovio’s platform.
- Coordinates with the Account Managers, Customer Success, Production, Forward Engineers, Operations Directors in performing all project requirements.
- Remains cognizant of current projects, continually prioritizes projects by importance, maintains effective time management skills on a daily basis, ensuring all statuses are up to date, and ensures communication is made to the appropriate personnel with their current status
- Participates in routine internal meetings and accurately represents each customer’s project status, including next steps and potential barriers.
- Ensures all Voovio Forward Engineers, and other Voovio Personnel, who need to enter Customer sites have all the required background checks, safety training, PPE and any other requirements to enter the site and perform their duties.
- Actively listens, establishing rapport with customers, vendors, and possess overall relationship building with all personnel internally and externally;
- Exercises tact and professionalism when problem-solving and resolving conflicts; Maintains a willingness to take corrective actions to fix mistakes, address complaints, or otherwise improve the permitting experience;
- Must be able to work independently, based remotely if not in the Houston office
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required;
- Minimum 3 years of project management, operations or customer service experience required; Priority given to candidates working in the process industry.
- This individual should also have experience in customer service and/or customer interface.
Skills & Experience
- Must be a motivated self-starter who maintains a friendly, courteous, and compassionate demeanor at all times;
- Experience in plant operations in the petrochemical industry preferred.
- Excellent computer and technical skills;
- High-level critical thinking, attention to detail, time-management, organizational, communication and reasoning skills.
- Experience in lean tools, value stream mapping, six sigma, etc. preferred.
