Project Manager (Construction)
Location: Livonia MI
Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 per annum
Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a passion for leading construction projects from inception to successful completion? Our dynamic team is seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of Project Manager. As a key player in our client's organization, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects ranging from $500,000 to $50 million, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Summary: As a Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of our clients construction initiatives, providing administrative direction to on-site Superintendents and implementing corrective measures as needed. The successful candidate will excel in project leadership, resource alignment, and execution. Position Responsibilities:
- Lead all projects with professionalism, courtesy, and respect, fostering a positive team environment.
- Set direction, align resources, and execute projects to the highest standard.
- Conduct initial client contact to assess the scope of work and resources required for successful project completion.
- Monitor and control construction projects, ensuring adherence to technical, safety, schedule, cost, and financial responsibilities.
- Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures as necessary.
Required Skills:
- Self-motivated with strong leadership skills.
- Ability to manage all aspects of a project, including technical, safety, schedule, cost, and financial responsibility.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Primavera, AutoCAD, and Viewpoint software.
- Experience in the automotive sector is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and planning skills.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-related field or Construction Management.
- 7+ years of experience in heavy industrial project management.
