CHR Solutions is seeking a full-time Project Manager that can be based remotely. The Project Manager is responsible to effectively initiate, plan, execute, control, and close projects assigned. This position exists to ensure the proper oversight and management of all aspects of assigned projects including planning, scope, time, cost, quality, staff resources, communications, risk, while maintaining quality standards, controlling expenses, and following company and business unit directives and practices. This position is 90% remote with up to 10% by car or plane to attend meetings or trainings.
Primary Accountabilities
- Works with appropriate internal team(s) and external customer(s) to develop project plans that include cost, work schedule, and any related risks. Serve as the primary contact for all project related matters. Manage the project from initiation to close.
- Assign schedules, monitor project work to ensure that progress is within expected guidelines, and completed on time and within budget by tracking financials, managing resources, and utilizing or creating reporting tools.
- Identifies, tracks, monitors, and communicates project related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies as they arise during project cycle. Facilitates amicable solutions.
- Mentors and provides expertise to other project team members.
- Follows defined PMO processes, procedures, & guidelines
- Initiates communications and collaboration with clients, senior management, project team members and stakeholders on an ongoing basis
- Prepares project reports for management, clients, and others as requested including creating ad-hoc reports and regularly scheduled project reports.
Education and Experience Requirements
Required:
- Bachelors degree from accredited four-year college or university or four years of service in the military or eight years+ of management/project management experience; high school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities
- Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Suite of Products, specifically excel functions and formulas
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, Ability to exchange information clearly and concisely and able to present ideas, report facts and other information.
- Ability to communicate professional with internal teams and externally managing client relationships.
- Ability to effectively utilize PowerBi, PM software, Write and Sharepoint.
Desired:
- Have obtained or willing to obtain PMP certification
- MBA from accredited college or university
- Experience in various Project Management methodologies
- Ability to effectively utilize PowerBi, Trello, SharePoint
