OCT Consulting LLC is a boutique management and strategy consulting company that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.
Responsibilities and Duties
OCT Consulting has grown significantly within the last 3 years and continues to grow. We are looking to bring onboard an intelligent, intellectually curious, organized, diligent, and detail- oriented Project Manager for a USAID project. The project pertains to knowledge management, learning, data, and training and is critical for USAID to meet its mission objectives.
This position is contingent upon project award and funding.
Responsibilities and duties include:
● Manages the project utilizing industry-standard project management principles, standards, and documentation.
● Generates project documentation including the project plan, branding and marketing plan, communication plan, quarterly and annual reports, and other project artifacts as deemed needed.
● Provides functional expertise in program and project management, knowledge management, data analysis, and/or collaboration and learning (CLA) and integrates performance across critical functional capabilities.
● Provides recommendations for process improvements and strategic changes.
● Collaborates with geographically separated cross-functional teams from a remote environment to gather information and ensure alignment in documentation efforts.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
● Requires a minimum of 5 years implementing USAID programs.
● 10+ years of project/program experience focused on knowledge management, data analysis, MEL, and/or CLA.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to convey complex information concisely.
● Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and a capacity to coordinate collaboration efforts with key stakeholders.
● Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
● Ability to manage client relationships as the primary point of contact and team supporting the project.
● Flexibility to adapt to contingencies resulting from changes or modifications to the schedule and assessment requirements.
● Excellent oral and written communication skills
● Experience in presenting control requirements and deficiencies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
● Bachelor's degree preferred.
Ability to Commute/Relocate
The position is primarily off-site (remote) but may require several days per week at the Federal client site in Washington, DC or the DC metro area, as needed. The position may require the candidate to travel occasionally to conferences and events both around the United States and internationally (although this is unlikely).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience and education.
