Gentis Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to join our team. This contract-to-hire position is with one of our Fortune 50 clients interested in full-time consultants. Requirements
- TOP: Self-starter with learn and apply attitude in an intense, fast-paced environment
- TOP: Experience working with leading stakeholder groups, including technical, product, business and vendor teams
- TOP: Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Excellent MS Office toolset skills
- Proven track record of schedule development and delivering objectives on time and within budget against that schedule
- Agile and waterfall project experience
- Ability to anticipate and manage project risks
- Confident, solution-oriented independent worker
- Must work effectively with managing different sets of business, technology and vendor stakeholders
- Proven problem-solving and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability in team motivation and delegation
- PMP or CAPM certification or equivalent experience is preferred or must be working toward certification
- Some travel outside of the Cincinnati region may be required
Desirable Skills
- Local to Cincinnati region is strongly preferred
- 3rd-party vendor management experience a plus
Typical Duties
- Establish and update project plans and manage deviations from the plan
- Ensure all project requirements and/or objectives are properly documented and vigorously pursued to deliver the project scope
- Meeting coordination, facilitation and follow-up
- Status and progress reporting on a regular cadence (daily, weekly as needed)
- Create and track schedules, risks and issues, and budget (when applicable)
- Develop risk mitigation plans and escalate decisions and unresolved issues as needed
- Maintain project communications with stakeholders at multiple levels
- Work with peers to develop and drive goals, define technical specifications and detailed implementation plans for project
