Responsibilities

The Project Manager's primary responsibilities are to provide oversight for large, complex IT projects, impacting cross functional departments, throughout the project lifecycle. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of multiple, simultaneous projects ensuring consistency with organizational strategies, commitment, and goals.

- Develop and manage full-scale project plans and communications that require a significant level of cross functional coordination.
- Communicate clear expectations with team members and other stakeholders, and continually manage those expectations throughout the life of the project.
- Lead strategy and planning sessions as required, developing project scope with stakeholders for approved projects.
- Provide steering committee status reports, which include budget, timeline, issues, risks and scope status.
- Identify and resolve project issues and manage project dependencies to maintain the critical path timelines.
- Facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution.
- Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of projects according to agreed upon scope and budget.
- Develop and maintain all project documentation, including charter, project scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables.
- Identifies opportunity for improvements, takes an enterprise view and drives value.
- Strong interpersonal skills that motivate others.
- Acts as a change agent by understanding business need and delivers change effectively.
- Ability to negotiate internally and externally to build consensus and maximize value and savings.
- Align and organize resources to drive projects to successful completion.

- Document and maintain documentation for project in corporate PM tools (Microsoft)
- Mentor fellow PM associates and foster an environment of learning and growth environment.
- Conduct project postmortems and create recommendations report, documenting the successes and challenges that were experienced over the life of the project.
Qualifications
The Experiences You Bring:
- MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
License / Registration / Certification- PMP Certification (or working toward certification)
Education- Bachelor's Degree required.
Experience- Work efficiently, self-motivated and strong work ethic.
- 3-5 years of experience in managing full life cycle, highly complex IT Technology Projects
- 1-2 years of Healthcare IT experience preferred.
- Experience managing vendor relationships preferred.
