Overview:
The Project Manager has overall accountability for successful project execution meeting objectives for Safety, Quality and Efficiency as well as financial performance.
Major Responsibilities:
- 1. Manage all aspects of multiple concurrent projects and ensure financial targets are met while maintaining established safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- 2. Support transition of projects from the commercial team to the execution team
- 3. Mentor and positively coach all Field Electrician Technicians.
- 4. Actively maintain customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and quality of service on every project.
- 5. Assist with management of all activities associated with materials, budgeting, and production for assigned project(s).
- 6. Plan and schedule resources to meet project milestones.
- 7. Lead communications with customer and project team to properly identify and process scope changes, address issues, share project progress updates, etc.
- 8. Maintain project-related documents through internal and customer document management systems.
- 9. Make arrangements with vendors for items such as rental equipment and vehicles.
- 10. Review and approve project progress reporting, employee times worked, hotel bookings, etc. to comply with project plan.
- 11. Lead resolution of customer satisfaction issues related to project execution and warranty issues.
- 12. Perform energy audits and site surveys.
- 13. Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- 1. Project management experience with an electrical contractor preferred.
- 2. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- 3. Able to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines.
- 4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 5. Must be organized, detailed-oriented, and professional.
- 6. Ability to travel, including overnight stays.
- 7. Demonstrate and uphold values of Control Smart Lighting which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, professionalism, and growth.
Certificates/experience/licenses:
- 1. Valid drivers’ license is required.
- 2. OSHA 30 (ability to possess, at minimum)
- 3. Lift Certification (ability to possess)
- 4. Minimum 2 Years’ Leadership Experience (required)
