Job Summary The SCALE Project Management Specialist will be responsible for the IU portion of the SCALE project, which focuses on coaching and vertical alignment for 7 school district partners across Indiana. This role will provide administrative leadership in planning, implementing, and developing the program's goals, mission, and strategy.

Performs duties necessary for program operation including recruitment, developing reports and program budgets, and maintaining program's strategy and best practices. Oversees events and training, researches, and manages grant and revenue-generated programs, and ensures timely grant writing/reporting. Department Specific Responsibilities Implements and oversees the program's strategic vision and direction by developing, initiating, and/or creating new programs and services (for coaching and vertical alignment), and creating annual work plans and oversees the operating budget.

Directs the maintenance of effective office management, financial management, record-keeping, and equipment. Plans, directs, and implements programs and/or events, including operational objectives of coaching and vertical alignment, as well as recruitment of teachers and external outreach and partnership needs. Oversees and represents the program and it's timeline in communication to stakeholders, supporting institutions, collaborators in other units, and community partners.

Creates training and organizational structure for issues around coaching and vertical alignment. Monitors best practices to create and implement policies and procedures that deliver a quality program experience. General Responsibilities Develops project plan(s) and efficiently analyzes, tracks, forecasts, and reports on project metrics and shortfalls.

Coordinates and facilitates efforts of project team(s) consisting of various staff and hourly employees. Communicates ongoing changes in tasks, goals, or performance. Collaborates to ensure that project objectives are achieved within established time frames.

Participates in client meetings, vendor/contract decisions, and development of project requirements and specifications. May provide guidance and support to less experienced peers. Qualifications Combinations of related education and experience may be considered.

EDUCATION Required Master's degree in educational technology, instructional design, or education WORK EXPERIENCE Required 2 years of Project Management experience.

Preferred 5 years of experience in K-12 schools and providing professional development for teachers SKILLS Required Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion Demonstrates Project Management skills Proficient communication skills Excellent organizational skills Excellent collaboration and team building skills Demonstrates time management and priority setting skills Highly thorough and dependable Working Conditions / Demands This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Additional Information The expected salary range for this position is between $50,000 and $64,000. Note that this is a grant funded position with an anticipated 2 years of additional funding.
