The Project Management Lead will organize and prioritize key projects, providing a structured approach to multiple projects while ensuring priorities are meeting key performance metrics. This individual will also teach others about Project Management practices and mindset through a train-the-trainer model, ensuring that staff embraces and uses these tools and methodologies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- PMP certification preferred (in progress will be considered)
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of Agile processes
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communications skills
- Project management tools a plus
Experience:
- Four years of related work experience required
- Training experience preferred
- Food Bank, facilities, and/or warehouse experience a plus
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a variety of short-term, cross-organizational projects through Project Management and process coordination, reporting frequently on scope, schedule, costs, and risks
- Facilitate the initiation of all critical project meetings and coordination exercises with staff and key stakeholders to ensure responsibilities are efficiently, accurately, and effectively communicated
- Manage vendor and project team performance to ensure compliance with requirements
- Own performance metrics and ensure all projects align in meeting those metrics
- Assist leadership in identifying priorities, strategically align time with those priorities, ensuring progress and completion
- Develop and execute project-specific goals, schedules, budgets, strategy, and detailed assumptions with methodology for accomplishing and/or managing goals and objectives
- Build and maintain rapport with project team members and ensure that the scope of the project and outside business forces affecting the project is fully understood and that specific deliverables are fully understood with performance standards and other relevant criteria
- Develop a detailed project budget based on historical and market data and clearly defined set of budget assumptions
- Guide the team through the design implementation process, including conceptual, schematic, design development and construction documentation and signoff
- Develop and maintain Master Project Schedules and manage the successful execution of projects so that completion falls within intended timeframes
- Coaching, reporting and support of NTFB PMO
- Support, promote, and encourage a culture of quality and safety throughout the organization
- Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $64,000.00 - $80,200.00 per year
