EMT Job Description:
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) respond to non-medical emergencies and deliver patient care, support, and evaluation in a pre-hospital setting, like on scene and during transport to the hospital. This includes assessing patient vitals, determining the proper care, and administering treatment. EMTs also help with transporting patients safely between hospitals and care facilities.

- Read, write, and communicate professionally and effectively with employees and others.
- Input simple ePCR Incident.
- Knowledge of company protocols, operational procedures, and safety policies.
- Knowledge of methods and techniques for providing on-site non-emergency medical services.
EMT Job Responsibilities:
- Operates a non-emergency medical transportation vehicle.
- Lifts carries and transports patients from residents to medical facilities.
- Communicate professionally with others regarding patient treatment.
- Administers prescribed first-aid treatment at site of emergency or in specially equipped vehicle according to established medical protocols.
- Administers oxygen or artificial resuscitation; treats and bandages wounds or abrasions; and performs other basic life support procedures.
- Inspects specially equipped non-emergency vehicles; cleans equipment to ensure its safe operation; and replenishes medical supplies, fuel, and fluids.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- State driver’s license.
- GA. State EMT certification.
- Certified CPR in Basic Life Support.
Job Pay:
- $800 - $1,200 Weekly.
