Project Management Intern (Summer 2024 | Michigan)
Vervint is looking to add a Project Management Intern for the summer of 2024. As a member of the Vervint Delivery team, you will work with other Vervint team members to learn how to coordinate processes, schedule resources, reporting, and project execution.

What you'll accomplish:
  • Coordinate resource schedules for technical pre-sales, delivery and other needs for all aspects of the Professional Services organization
  • Manage the Professional Services Automation tool with respect to: project setup, ad hoc reporting, time entry follow-up, and skill matrix maintenance
  • Learn and collaborate on the Statement of Work (SOW) development process
  • Manage the PMO Portal including SOW and Project Management Assignment and maintenance
  • Coordinate PMO meetings including logistics, scheduling and document the outcomes of meetings and follow up on action items
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately for archive and retrieval
  • Produce PMO reports such as resource utilization, time entry compliance, milestone reporting, project closure and others as needed
  • Provide support to Project Managers, act as a client interface as needed, provide backup in meetings, reporting, scheduling, etc.
  • Communicate timely escalations of client issues to Project Manager
  • Participates in resource staffing and planning activities
What you'll bring:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Project Management, business, business administration, engineering, or related field focused on Project Management
  • Strong organization skills
  • Able to succeed under tight deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Close attention to detail and establish and follow processes and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Collaborative and innovative
  • Experience utilizing a Project Management tool such as Microsoft Project, or equivalent a plus but not required
