The Project Management Intern works as a part of our professional services team to assist in driving aspects of client software implementation projects from inception to deployment. The intern will work cross-functionally and collaborate with Program/Project Managers in the Delivery Excellence team to ensure all projects are completed on time and on budget. Interns must possess strong communication and organization skills to successfully interface with clients, stakeholders, internal Origami teams, and outsourced vendors.
Origami Risk is recruiting candidates interested in a 12-week, paid, in-person internship based in our Chicago or Atlanta offices during Summer 2024. Interns will be paid a total of $12,600, with the internship programming running from May 20, 2024, through August 9, 2024.

Responsibilities
- Captures notes during meetings to summarize and track key decisions and follow-up items; ensures distribution of the same to stakeholders
- Assists in building and maintaining project schedule
- Builds, deploys, and maintains project tools, such as status reports, dashboards, issues/risks logs, etc.
- Monitors hours tracking data and identifies items that require further review
- Reconciles Statement of Work (SOW) to requirements, time, and budget tracking tools
- Assists in scheduling and preparing for project-related meetings with clients
- Participates in continuous learning to increase Project Management knowledge and proficiency to prepare for long-term roles in Project Management
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, operations management, information systems or a similar major
- Superior organization, communication, and presentation skills required
- Solid business acumen with an interest in pursuing a long-term career as a Project Manager
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
