HCI is now hiring a part-time, office-based student Project Management Intern to work in our home office in Manhattan, Kansas. This is a great opportunity for current Construction Science and/or Business Management majors to experience Project Management in a fast-paced, real-world construction, maintenance, and procurement role for dozens of businesses throughout the Midwest and East Coast! The Project Management Intern will work 15+ hours weekly depending on school schedule with full time possibility during the summer. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to researching, coordinating, and managing assigned projects.
- Must be a current college student living in the Manhattan, Kansas area with availability to work 15+ hours during business week, Monday - Friday.
- Ability to multi-task at a high level to manage competing demands and deadlines.
- Advanced ability to utilize Microsoft Outlook as an important means of communication/organization.
- Assertive mentality to assist with holding subcontractors and vendors accountable for work performed.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills when working with various vendors and businesses.
- Problem solving, an independent personality is a must.
