Job Summary
Clerk will be working closely with project team to ensure material is ordered in a timely manner and ensure time sheets are submitted weekly and correctly. Other responsibilities include scheduling meetings, answering email inquiries from project superintendents and supervisors for status of material and assisting supervisors with time sheet entry and correctness.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with material orders by entering material request into SAP System
- Liaison between project team and commercial department to ensure vendor questions regarding material are answered in a timely manner and secure updates on material orders.
- Maintains material tracking sheet to ensure POs and deliveries are done timely.
- Liaison between project team and warehouse department to ensure material was delivered and provide updates to project manager and project superintendents.
- Liaison between project team and timekeeping department to ensure timesheets are printed weekly and assist timekeeping by following up with supervisors as needed.
- Ensure that timekeeping department submits time sheets weekly and follows up daily
- Verify correct cost codes and descriptions are entered on time sheets.
- Verify hours and equipment on time sheets are in line with work reported by project superintendent via email
- Verify correctness of electronic time sheets vs. manual sheets
Experience & Knowledge
Minimum of 1 year experience in related field

- Proficient in MS Office: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
