Project Leader - Finance - Capital (4 days on site, one day remote)
Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, the individual in this position is expected to influence change with strong communication and presentation skills. Primary duties include mentoring members of the finance staff, monitoring capital budgets, approving requisitions while adhering to financial controls, and championing the use of data to affect and improve tracking and reporting of capital transactions. Play a key role in the capital budgeting process by coordinating efforts with clinical departments. Develop and process ad-hoc financial reporting. Work with Hospital Management to determine appropriate information, format, and timing of financial information.
Preferred Criteria
- Experience in accounting for fixed assets and related financial controls
- Excellent people skills
- Excellent MS Excel and database management skills
Required Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience
- Must possess excellent analytical skills
- Must be able to work effectively with staff at all levels of Organization or regional entities
- Must be able to respond in a timely manner and meet deadlines
