Project Engineer - Water Resources
Position Location: Chicago, IL or Aurora, IL
Crawford, Murphy & Tilly (CMT), an engineering and consulting firm, is seeking to add a talented Project Engineer/ Manager to our Northern, IL Water Resources team to support our clients and have a hand in transforming the communities we serve.

Position Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will have demonstrated relevant work experience in leading project teams and providing planning, design, and/or construction phase engineering services for public and private infrastructure projects. Services include modeling, treatment, pumping, storage, and piping for potable water, stormwater, and wastewater systems. Representative client sectors include city, state, county, federal, special districts, and commercial/industrial clients.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience with increasing responsibility in the civil engineering profession with a focus in Water Resources engineering, which includes potable water, stormwater, or wastewater
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois or on track for licensure
- Strong knowledge of and experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and/or GIS software packages
- Experience with hydrology, hydraulics, or modeling
- Experience with public infrastructure or public utilities
- Experience in writing reports and engineering project documentation
- Excellent oral and written communications
