Project Engineer

We are looking to hire a Project Engineer to work for a well-established manufacturing plant located in Sterling, IL. This is a great opportunity for growth with a highly successful company. The Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to customers during the design and development of customized products. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality, reducing lead times, and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Salary: $90K to $100K

Job Details:

• Offer technical guidance and support to customers during the design and development phase of customized electro-mechanical products.
• Oversee projects for multiple product lines providing hands on quality ISO auditing.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure that product specifications and customer requirements are met.
• Managing any changes and solving any technical problems to ensure that quality and safety standards are met during production.
• Execute and analyze test plans to validate product performance and functionality, ensuring that it meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineer or Mechatronics is required.
• Experience with Motors and Blowers, or DC Contactors and Electrical Controls are preferred.
• Able to interpret product drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Generate product drawings as required with assistance of CAD staff.
• Understand and follow ISO procedures.
• MS Office proficiency.
