Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform Engineering Part Analysis (EPAs)
- Execute Transition Design Reviews (TDRs)
- Create drawings update justification report (Issue Report)
- Update drawings in NX for Mechanical Drawing - CREO for Electronics Drawings
- Investigate and implement source control parts for compliant alternatives
- Follow drawings update and approvals in PLM tool
- Manage and Report on Project Schedules, Budget, and Priority
- Seek advice from subject matter experts when required
- Report project status during regular internal and external meetings. Typical reports would include updates on project status, assumptions, information needed, and overall program health
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree
- Ability to Read & Understand CAD drawings
- Preparation of CAD Drawings (2D & 3D)
- Knowledge of Engineering Mechanics & Strength of Materials
- Strong background in NX/Creo
- Strong Analytical skills
- Knowledge in GD&T
- Re-Modification of Dimensions and change of Plan according to the projects
- Very strong mechanical design engineering background
- Excellent communication and coordination capabilities
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity or interest with aerospace industry desired
- EWI/Rich Client experience a plus
- Teamcenter and SAP experience valued
- Previous leadership experience a plus
- Superior communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Excellent business management and developmental skills
- Team/management skills and organizational skills
- Background in FEA or CFD a plus
- Ability to express technical information in a clear and simple way
- Work as a team member in a technical project environment. Must be self-motivated and able to think 'outside the box'
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Primarily Office Environment.
- Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
- Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
