Project Engineer - Intern - Houston, Tx

Wharton-Smith, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Engineer Intern to work in the Houston, TX area. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and assisting the Project Engineer & Project Manager with planning, organization, and completion of project within an area of assigned responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing project plans and conferring with management.
• Managing project document flow.
• Submittal review and approval process.
• RFI (Request for Information) process.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Data entry.
• Assisting the Project Manager or Project Engineer with daily tasks/duties.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or mechanical engineering, Construction Management, or other relevant degrees.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
