Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Project Engineer role located in the Bay Area. We are seeking a motivated problem solver to join our dynamic team in the field of civil construction. As a Project Engineer you will play a crucial role in the successful planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the project manager and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Assist in the development of project plans, including timeleines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project team members to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality and safety compliance.
- Manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications and change orders.
- Identify and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during the construction process.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.
Qualifications
- Communication skills
- Project management and project planning skills
- Project engineering experience
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to work well in a constantly changing environment
- Experience in construction industry or related field
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
