This is a hybrid role in Denver, Colorado. This position will require 2+ days a week working in the office. US work authorization is required.

The role:

As a Project Engineer, BIM Services, you will work directly with new and existing electrical clients on the service side of our business and with internal senior leadership handling business relationships for significant accounts and sales.

In this role you will:

  • Be focused on new project estimates and takeoffs for VDC/BIM electrical projects.
  • Manage and strengthen client relationships and ensure satisfaction levels are met.
  • Develop and implement an effective management plan to meet or exceed established objectives.
  • Interface with the appropriate technical resources to establish pricing for quotes and bids that are consistent with the company's financial objectives.
  • Present client ideas, information, and needs to technical business development team members.
  • Look beyond individual opportunities to identify potential ways to drive more client value - working towards alignment of our services to client goals and objectives.
  • Reach out on large project opportunities across the country.
  • Work with operations teams to establish change orders and update project budgets.
  • Research and understand the client landscape to better support company objectives.
  • Create detailed proposals for mid-market clients.

Apply if you have:

  • 2 - 3 years of electrical experience, either as an Electrician, a Project Engineer, or a BIM Coordinator for an electrical company or contractor.
  • 2 - 3 years of estimating and takeoff experience.
  • 2 - 3 years of construction account/project management experience.
  • 1 - 2 years of exposure to BIM/VDC; modeling experience is not required.
  • Strong organizational management and attention to detail.
  • Desire to learn Salesforce and other estimating/proposal writing tools.
  • Strong networking and relationship building skills.
  • An ability to multitask and work efficiently and effectively to meet required deadlines
  • A team orientation where individual contribution is only part of the equation.
  • Managed multiple timelines to provide clients with the right resources at the right time.

Even better if you have:

  • Managed accounts within the architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) space.
  • Worked in a fast-paced, hyper-growth culture.
  • Used Dodge Reports, Zoom Info, or other prospecting tools.
  • Experience selling VDC/BIM services.
  • A solid understanding of who AEC stakeholders and clients are and what problems they face

Compensation and featured benefits:

  • The pay for this position is $80,000 - $90,000, and the role is eligible for bonuses. The actual salary offer may be different as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, location, and experience
  • Health insurance with the choice of five plan options. We cover 70-95% of premiums for VIATechies and 70% of the premiums for dependents
  • Dental and vision insurance. We cover 75% of the monthly insurance premiums for VIATechies and 50% of the premiums for dependents
