Job Description: Project Engineer
Job Responsibilities Include:
· Attend and document project meetings (create agenda, write minutes)
· Accountable for drafting and distributing notices to the residents (door hangers, website, etc.)
· Setup and maintain a communication log (BOD, management, residents, design professionals)
· Set up and maintain an electronic filing system.
· Update and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications, and logs
· Assist with the preparation of CPM schedules (MS Project)
· Assist with updating and maintaining the master CPM schedule (MS Project)
· Evaluate and understand basic construction means and methods
· Maintain a site-specific safety plan and pre-task planning process, including audits, meetings, training, etc.
· Distribute all documents to subcontractors and maintain document logs
· Evaluate field problems and document PCI's (Pre-Construction Information)
· Prepare and maintain PCI logs
· Prepare and maintain DCL, (Daily Construction Logs), sign-in sheets
· Review, analyze, and transmit submittals
· Prepare and maintain submittal logs
· Cost code and/or verify correct codes on timesheets (if any)
· Code Accounts Payable as assigned
· Verify original estimate quantities for accuracy prior to job start
· Prepare and maintain work orders and logs
· Review and assemble change order submittals and quantity surveys
· Set up and maintain QAQC reports and logs. (Quality Assurance & Quality Control)
· Maintain progress photo album
· Compile contract close-out documents (O&M manuals, as-builts, etc.)
· Maintain record-set drawings
· Document punch list work
Qualifications:
Must be proficient in Google Suite platforms.
Minimum two years construction expierence with a value placed on construction administration.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $66,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
