A Project Developer is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of a projects design from conception to validating compliance with workplace standards. They work closely with stakeholders, team members, and contractors to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed-upon specifications.
Key responsibilities of a Project Developer include:
1. Plan: Develop Initiate, Plan and Design timelines and budgets. Oversee the design process to ensure BU requirements are in line with workplace standards. Oversee the design team to ensure schedule and budgets are met.
3. Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and manage the implementation of these strategies.
4. Quality Assurance: Ensure that the project meets the quality standards set forth in project plans and specifications.
5. Communication: Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders, project team members, and contractors during Design Phase.
To be successful in this role, a Project Developer needs excellent project management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of construction management processes and principles. They should also have knowledge of relevant regulations, laws, and codes that apply to the construction and development industry.
