- Responsible for accurate file preparation, including file manipulation, font sourcing/substitution, file identification, placement/replacement, file RIP, proofreading and final sizing (specifically on Microsoft Word & Excel).
- Excel use: Sorting/filtering, use equations, combining spreadsheets, formatting.
- Word use: Mail Merge, "Mailing" Tab knowledge, formatting documents (margins/fonts/page breaks/section breaks), inserting tables, working with templates
- Assuring all files have been proofed for contact information correspond correctly to final work order specifications and client services provided proof.
You will exceed customer expectations doing these things:
- Receive and thoroughly read the entire work order/ticket/request before moving forward.
- Provide digital proof and send to project teams for approval and/or changes. Work collaboratively with Client Services to quickly and effectively resolve any issues.
- Open RIP software program, identify printer for final output, and prepare the file (gang files if possible) for best output and the least waste based on work order specifications
- RIP file in accordance to job specifications- materials being used, finishing techniques.
- Deliver work orders, proofs, and other supportive documents to production teams.
Requirements
- This position is in office at our Costa Mesa, CA headquarters
- High School or Equivalent
- 2+ years of experience Mail Merging/Document Print Prepping in a professional environment.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and knowledge, specifically the Excel and Word.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and align operations and project management processes to achieve business results.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, resourcefully with minimal oversight.
- Demonstrated experience in developing strong working relationships with internal and external customers
Benefits
Annual Salary Range: $47,840 - $56,160
