Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):
$36.588 - $47.210 - $57.833
The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant's years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
What You Will Do
Assist with process improvement projects and/or projects for growth, patient care, and operational needs. Ensures that projects are delivered in a timely matter and satisfactory to internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate and develop new projects to meet the needs of physicians, leadership, staff, patients and employers. Ensure projects yield the desire solutions and outcome.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- 1 Year experience in project team leadership.
- Experience managing a variety of projects with successful outcomes.
- Driver's License - CA Department of Motor Vehicles -REQUIRED
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in related field.
- Experience in a health care system.
Other Qualification Requirements
- Utilizes reliable transportation and possesses adequate personal insurance coverage. Demonstrates clean driving record in accordance with requirements of the employer DMV pull notice program and Sharp HealthCare Driver Guidelines.
Essential Functions
- Leadership
Researches details of special projects and develops strategies for implementation.
Conducts periodic needs assessment and makes recommendations for new projects or products that contribute to improved quality and efficiency related to customers and populations served. - Project Management
Demonstrates consistent and effective application of Project Management techniques.
Through incorporation and integration of analyses, as well as sound professional judgment of project requirements, develops and maintains a comprehensive project management plan and schedule.
Coordinates with outside vendors to ensure project scope and schedule align with organizational needs.
Manages on-going furniture projects and addresses warranty issues.
Coordinates with Site Support to ensure projects align with IT and Safetv protocols.
Establishes and manages project requirements and timelines to ensure completion within target dates as agreed to with affected parties.
Manages interactions with stakeholders to ensure understanding, resolve conflicts, reach mutual decisions, and attain project goals. - Project Improvement
In collaboration with the department leaders, identifies opportunities to improve department effectiveness, including workflow redesign, workload distribution and prioritization; and improvement in data systems and processes.
Facilitate process redesign efforts.
Effectively present information and respond to questions.
Assists departmental staff with prioritization of workload.
Works collaboratively and effectively with team members to establish and achieve goals.
Actively participates in system and departmental meetings as well as interdisciplinary collaborative work efforts.
Completes other assigned projects. - Quality
Ensures internal and external customer satisfaction via a variety of methods including surveys, direct feedback, and others as
appropriate.
Supports a quality improvement approach and demonstrates a commitment toward excellence.

- Thorough knowledge of PM principles and methodologies and skilled at developing and leading multidimensional projects.
