JOB SUMMARY:
Provides project coordination and support for the Quality, Safety, Risk, PFR, CC Departments exercising independency, judgment, and experience to ensure the timely communication of information to and from the individuals and/or department.
1.Project Planning
a. Assists with project plan development and planning with appropriate tools. Supports site specific functions related to Quality, Safety, Risk, PFR and Clinical Compliance as directed by site OCMO leadership.
- Coordinates and completes selected projects through comprehensive planning, implementation, and evaluation of project goals and requirements.
- Effectively collaborates with leaders and staff throughout the organization as well as externally.
- Demonstrates ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders to move forward a common vision.
- Assist with the development of project strategies that lead to a successful implementation and ensures project documentation is maintained for each project. Participates on tracking maintenance of completed project to ensure sustainability.
- Demonstrates the ability to develop project work plans and assign duties and responsibilities of each team member and their expected deliverables at each project milestone.
- Records clear and concise project meeting minutes, deliverables or action plans and key decisions or consensus made by the project team or project steering committee. Disseminates communications within agreed upon timeframes and seeks feedback reflecting any clarifications or edits.
2.Provide data mining, analysis, and report generation to inform business and strategic assessments as identified
- Analyzes and validates clinical, financial, operational and market level data for benchmarking purposes.
3.Provides reports to committees Project execution
- Schedules and conducts regular project status meetings.
- Establishes and utilizes agreed upon methods of communication (meeting notices, agenda, action tracking, minutes, etc.) and provides updates on project status within agreed timeframes.
- Provides updates project work plans and other documentation at least 24 hours prior to meeting.
4.Project Monitoring
- Partners with key leaders to develop well thought out proposals for resources needed to support successful implementation
- Successfully transition completed project oversight and operations to designated managers.
5.Administrative support for department
- Manage day-to-day business
- Develop and manage strategies and tracking systems to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the projects performed
- Assist with project coordination for QI/CC/ PFRSupport operations with front end support with staffing, phones, committee support, and invoices.
- Experience Minimum Required
- Minimum 1 year experience with project coordination
- Experience Preferred/Desired
- 2-3 years' experience with project coordination/management, green belt training, data analysis, and EMR
- Education Minimum Required
- Associate degree with 3 years of experience in an appropriate health care field.
- Education Preferred/Desired
- Bachelor's degree in appropriate health care field (business administration, heath management policy, etc.)
Special Skills Minimum Required
Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with cross functional teams including staff at all levels of the organization.
- Strong communication skills, including strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills and meeting facilitation of formal and informal gatherings of various sizes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
Special Skills Preferred/Desired
- Critical thinking skills for problem solving and identification of solutions. Analytical skills and understanding of healthcare systems as well as familiarity with analytical tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and Powerpoint.
