AMHC announces the opening of the HRSA Project Coordinatorposition in the Aroostook County area. The focus of the grant is to oversee the planning efforts that will lead to improved prevention, treatment, and recovery services for individuals challenged by opioid use disorder. The chosen candidate will be expected to demonstrate the core values of AMHC by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect to co-workers, clients, and community members.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a associate's degree in a related field is required AND at least 5 years of related job experience.
- Healthcare experience is preferred
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is necessary
- Experience in substance use prevention, treatment, and/or recovery services preferred
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Collaborate with organizations to create a plan to meet the needs of the community in regard to Opioid and Substance use prevention, treatment, and recovery.
- Demonstrate AMHC's focus on Excellence by providing accurate reporting to aid the community consortium in making decisions in the best interest of Services to the community.
- Provide a Compassionate and Respectful environment for individuals seeing support or education in regard to mental health, substance use, co-occurring, and rehabilitation services.
- Maintain the Integrity of AMHC services by developing and presenting quality presentations for the community and stakeholders.
Schedule:
- This is a 40-hour per week exempt position
