Flooring Project Manager
Location: Portland, OR
Job Type: Full-Time
Start Date: Immediately
Job Duties:
1. Review, prioritize and schedule installation.
2. Generate and send work orders and installation packets, and communicate any pertinent details of the job.
3. Communicate proactively with installers and sales representatives to update them on status of project scheduling, job progress and installation issues.
4. Act as the central point of contact for the field.
5. Ensure that installers start and end jobs according to the schedule set by customers.
6. Work through and resolve installation issues using critical thinking.
Required Skills:
· Prior flooring and/or construction experience is a plus.
· Ability to relate well to the public, in person and on the telephone.
· Ability to be diplomatic, tactful, creative, flexible, resourceful, dependable, well-organized, and professional.
· Must be able to perform computer functions related to the job function, specifically, Word, Excel, and the Internet.
