Project Controls Specialist

The Project Controls Specialist manages, integrates, coordinates and reviews the work of the Project Management group to develop, implement, feed, reconcile, and maintain valuable program control databases and reports.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee construction and engineering projects.
  • Must have expertise in project planning.
  • Establish criteria for schedule development (schedule detail, work breakdown structure WBS).
  • Estimate and monitor project costs.
  • Performs activities as necessary to support contract schedule functions and requirements (skilled in critical path method, PERT and development of Gant style schedules) with special emphasis on analysis and the relation to performance measurement.
  • Develop/update operating policies for team communications, safety and risk mitigation.
  • Interface with project managers, team leaders, planners, schedulers, supervisors and engineers to develop the Site Integrated Schedules for MOC.


Qualifications Required for this Position:

Education - BS Degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related field, preferred.

Experience - 5-8 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Must pass drug screen, as a condition of employment.
