Job Title:Project Controls
Reports to:Project Controls Manager
Location: Anchorage, AK (Open to Hybrid/Remote)
Salary Range: TBD - Based on Experience

What You Will Do:
This Project Controls position will work with the Project Management and Accounting Team throughout the project lifecycle. This position will assist in setting up and monitoring budgets and other project control tracking mechanisms. The individual will need to be able to identify potential problems related to scope, schedule and budget of the project. The position is expected to carry out tasks autonomously and collaboratively.
This position will be based out of our Anchorage Office and is open to a hybrid/remote work schedule for the ideal candidate.
General Project Controls:
Particular responsibilities may vary from project to project; however, they essentially include
- Project Support in regard to Scope, Schedule and Budget
- Work with Estimating and Project Management Team for Budget Setup
- Cost Reports utilizing Excel.
- Create and maintain project schedules utilizing Primavera.
- Assist Project Managers with forecasting projects in JDE Accounting System
- Assist in data entry.
- Participate in preparation for financial audits.
- Assist Project Management in developing / reviewing cost and schedule corrective action and recovery plans, and making sure needed actions / plans are implemented.
- Raise flags, take recovery actions and follow up when adverse schedule trends are identified.
- Monitor Subcontractors progress relative to the schedule and report results to Project Manager.
- Review, upgrade as necessary, and approve the Subcontractors schedule control plan.
- Ensure the Subcontractors schedule and cost forecast are in alignment.
- Work with Project Management Team in support of project invoicing including monthly Schedule of Values
- Change Order Management
- Cash Flow and Revenue Forecasting
- Misc Project Management tasks as required
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.)
- Understanding of data analysis and forecasting
- Scheduling Experience
Experience Preference:
- Minimum of 5 years of Project Controls experience.
- Primavera Scheduling Experience.
- Experience working in an environment that involves multiple projects.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Accounting, Engineering, Business or related field preferred
