Project Control Analyst

Cepeda Systems and Software Analysis Inc, a rapidly growing small company in Huntsville, AL, is currently seeking a Project Control Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and analysis in all areas of program control and business management for both program and corporate deliverables.
• Interface with Vice President, Directors, finance, accounting, contracts, subcontracts, and procurement organizations to address operational issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Assist Directors and operation leads in all duties related to financials and performance, planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Meets financial objectives by forecasting task order costs, schedules; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Support the timecard and travel review and approval process by ensuring it is followed by the program team and updates are made as necessary.
• Achieves operational objectives by completing audits, completing reconciliations and identifying trends.
• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Prepares briefs to senior leadership as required.
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Review, approve and reconcile monthly Prime and Subcontractor invoices as well as CDRL development and delivery.
• Support contract proposal pricing in both Prime and Subcontractor role.

Required Education & General Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or similar discipline is preferred.
• Expert level Excel skills and detail oriented.
• Unanet experience is a plus.
• A qualified applicant will have good communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain a close relationship with internal and external customers.
• The ability to work independently and collaborate as a team member to ensure that items are completed on or ahead of schedule.
