Our Project Architectwill work out of our Midwest Division, located in Hopkins,Minnesota. As a Project Architect at SitelogIQ you will work directly with a Project Manager to on all phases of project development from conceptual design to construction administration. You will be responsible for meeting the design intent, budget, and schedule of the client. You will lead the day-to-day coordination of the design disciplines in developing technical solutions. Additionally, you will lead and mentor architectural staff to successfully complete projects. Some travel to project sites may be required within the Midwest region to complete site visits, field verifications and building assessments.
Project Architect Responsibilities
- Work directly with Project Manager and Designers in the development of project documents
- Responsible for technical design aspects of an assigned project including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions
- Use independent judgement in evaluation, selection, and adaptation/modification of standard building techniques
- Independently solve problems and seek technical guidance on unusual or complex issues
- Be a mentor for junior team members
Project Architect Qualifications
- Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited program with 5 or more years of experience
- Registered Architect
- Design modeling and drafting experience with Revit and Microsoft Office Suite software
- Thorough knowledge of architectural design drafting, detailing, building materials, building codes, construction techniques and costs
- Proactive contributor with the ability to meet project timelines and client expectations
- Strong communicator, collaborative, detail oriented and organized
