Job Summary
Provides Project Analyst support to Project Control.
Travel is not required.
Responsibilities and Duties
Supports the Lead Project controller and Operations Manager for financial reporting and status. Tasking support includes financial tracking of contract/tasks, conducts regular reconciliation of financial information in the Cost Point accounting system, utilizing PSRs, GL labor reports, ODC details and task tracking spreadsheets. Identifies inaccurate charging and submit items with documentation/explanation for correction in the accounting system. Provides accurate, detailed weekly and monthly delivery status reports for various contract. Prepares financial information and data required for all internal program reviews. Provides variance analysis to include adjusting/forecasting elements of costs for dynamic ongoing tasks to ensure an accurate estimate at completion. Provides accurate and up to date financial status of contracts/task. Analyzes issues and identify possible solutions to present to the Lead Project Control. Invoices review, ensuring both accuracy and allowable under the contract, prior to approval for issuance to customer. Tracks Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) items, to include preparing staffing and personnel reports. Review and tracks purchases, travel, and time charges as required.
Qualifications and Skills
Required knowledge and years of experience
Must have at least five (5) years of direct work experience with the use of advanced information technology to develop and/or integrate complex data, to include: requirements analysis; project management procedures including out year budgeting for programs involving OMN, FMS, OPN, SCN, and RDT&E monies; development of contract schedules, out year planning and POM budgets, compliance planning and program planning. Must have knowledge of DoD standards and regulations like the FAR, DFARS, OPM requirements, and other business-related regulations. Must have knowledge of government contract types to include Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials and Cost Reimbursable and a comprehensive knowledge of the processes and procedures in financial analysis. Must be organized, detail oriented, motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Candidate should be familiar with EAC development.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field (desired).
