We are seeking a Program/Project Management Office (PMO) Manager

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

The PMO Program Manager will report directly to the V.P. of Engineering and oversee the project and program portfolio for the Commercial Snow and Ice division of Douglas Dynamics. The role will work to establish the Project Management Office by working with the project management community to develop skills, tools, routines, and reporting to ensure predictable project delivery to help the company achieve its strategic objectives.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
  • Project and program management delivery using well established industry standards for scope, schedule, risk, resource, cost, and change management
  • Oversee the monthly project reporting and tollgate reviews for the entire portfolio
  • Work with Douglas Dynamics Learning Center and the Project Management community to establish skill development plans
  • Establish a best practice forum to build common project routines and tools across all projects
  • Assist the Product Management Team and Project Steering Committee with roadmap development and resource management.
  • Work with the Douglas Dynamics Management System team to update and maintain the Internal New Product Development process
  • Develop NPD/PM metrics and reporting formats to accurately show project maturity and performance

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MBA desired

Experience and/or Training:
  • 8+ years of product development and project management experience preferred
  • Experience in durable goods development and manufacturing preferred

Licenses/Certificates:
  • PMP Certification required
  • Agile related certifications desired

Technology/Equipment
  • MS Office, Office 365, and Teams proficient
  • Experience with Project and Portfolio Management Software preferred

Travel
  • Travel will be required on occasion (<20%)
