- Work with analysts to understand user requirements.
- Create design documentation.
- Develop custom code utilizing Java.
- Test and debug Java code.
- Trouble shoot issues reported by users.
- 84 Months of developing web applications utilizing technologies such as Java, JSF, JSP and Servlets.
- 12 Months of developing applications utilizing the Vaadin application development framework.
- 84 Months of developing web-based applications to interact with an Oracle database.
- 24 Months of developing applications utilizing Java Persistence API (JPA).
- 24 Months of Experience supporting Regulatory Authority applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Full time role with engagement lenth of 30 months
- Daily work hours: 8:30 - 4:30, negotiable.
- Physical office location: NYS DOH, Wadsworth Center, Biggs Laboratory, Albany NY 12237
- Telecommuting - negotiable up to 5 days remote per two week pay period
