Position Description:
We are seeking an entry level Programmer Analyst to join our CGI team! This position is located in our Sacramento, CA office with work performed at the client site in Carson City, Nevada; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be at the client site 1-2 x per month, therefore you must be able to travel to Carson City, Nevada and work PST hours as per the project guidelines.
You will provide support to our technical and development team leads.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
Provide development and configuration support our ERP Implementation project.
Responsible for daily tasks and activities that may include:
Software Development:
• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, test, and implement software solutions.
• Write and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Debug and troubleshoot software defects and issues.
Analysis and Problem-Solving:
• Analyze user requirements and convert them into functional software configurations.
• Identify and resolve software-related issues promptly.
• Conduct system and software performance testing.
Documentation:
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software applications and systems.
• Document code changes and updates.
• Prepare user manuals and training materials.
Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, quality assurance, and project managers.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and address challenges.
Programming Languages and Technologies:
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or others as required.
• Familiarity with web development frameworks (e.g., HTML, Django, Flask, Spring) and databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Communication Skills:
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and challenges.
Project Management:
• Work within project timelines and deadlines.
• Break down larger tasks into manageable sub-tasks for efficient project management.
